#BeFreeToMove // My Enlite Bra Experience

* This post is not sponsored by Lululemon. The bra, tee, and leggings were generously provided by Lululemon for me to wear to their launch event. All opinions are my own.

In the early 2000’s, I remember begging my mom to get me the classic Lululemon Scuba Hoodie that everyone and their mothers (literally) were wearing. We walked out of the store with the coveted hoodie and my first activewear piece, the Flow Y Bra – at the ripe age of 11 when I couldn’t quite appreciate a good sports bra. Those days are long gone but the Vancouver-based brand has stuck around in my wardrobe, carrying me through many defining moments of my fitness journey; my first yoga class and crossing the finish line of my first 15K race.

When the lovely folks at Lululemon reached out asking if I wanted to participate in the launch of the Enlite Bra, I was beyond ecstatic and couldn’t say no. The entire experience from fitting room to dance floor was a dream come true! The educators at 318 Queen took my measurements and walked me through how the Enlite Bra fits. It comes in 20 different sizes and I tried on a couple before I felt like it was just right.

Over 50 women came together on the launch night for an empowering hip hop class lead by the fierce Fly Lady Di. After two straight hours of high intensity booty popping and hair flipping, I completely forgot I was even wearing a sports bra.

The Enlite Bra was designed by women for women, so that we could look and feel our best while we crush our training and #befreetomove. It was designed with comfort and high impact movement in mind. So does this bra really walk the walk?

There’s just something so unsexy about sports bras. I don’t know how they can manage to make me look flat chested yet expose my cleavage all at the same time. During yoga classes I have a fear of accidentally baring it all during forward folds and downward dogs.

The free-cut Ultralu™ fabric features a beautifully feminine criss-cross design with thick straps that feel like a second skin. It has two separate cups and an adjustable band so you can say goodbye to the uniboob, ribcage discomfort, and back/armpit bulges from an ill-fitting bra.

After putting the Enlite Bra to the test for a couple weeks, I can say with confidence that it’s worth the investment if you’re putting in those hours in your training. The design and fit is so beautiful that it has snuck it’s way into my everyday wardrobe, even on days where I don’t have a workout scheduled. It’s the kind of bra that’s so comfortable, I kind of don’t want to take it off at the end of the day.
